'Thanks for everything' - Die Cut Autumnal Leaves Card Tutorial
Follow these steps to create this warm toned thank you card, perfect for thanksgiving and autumn!
Blend a colour gradient directly onto the card front using Distress ink, then stamp a leafy background as shown, using co-ordinating colours of ink.
Die-cut a floating panel into the card front at an angle. As the die is so intricate, it’s tricky to create a neat edge so simply trim away as much as you can, then use strips of gold cardstock to hide the joins.
Back the panel with acetate, die-cut the panel again from gold cardstock and inlay some of the waste pieces into the card front as shown.
Stamp three maple leaves onto white cardstock, cut and colour them, add white highlights and mount them onto the card front using 3D foam pads.
Stamp the sentiment onto white cardstock, trim and colour as shown, matt each banner onto black cardstock and secure to the card front. Add a scattering of Crystal Drops to finish.
