Pirate Panel Aperture Birthday Card
Make this cute pirate themed kids die-cut card
Blend a colour gradient directly onto the card front using Distress ink, then stamp a background as shown using co-ordinating colours of ink.
Lay the card blank flat, secure the sentiment die to the top of the card front using low-tack tape, and partially die-cut the die, as we only want to cut half of the design.
Take the die-cut card front, which is now be in two pieces and back the two with a panel of acetate to bridge the gap. You can use the back of the card blank as a guide to get the sizing right.
Cover the joins with strips of gold cardstock, stamp the focal images onto white cardstock, colour as shown and cut them out.
Die-cut a stitched border into a piece of woodgrain paper, affix it to the bottom of the card front and arrange the toppers as shown.
Stamp the sentiment onto a border of white cardstock, matt it onto black cardstock before mounting onto the card front using 3D foam pads. Create highlights using a white gel pen and add Crystal Drops to finish.
