We’re wrapping up warm this issue with lots of lovely knits. Our cover garment, the Little Leaf jumper by Jennie Atkinson is super snuggly with a long roll neck that can also be worn as a hood!
You can start knitting it on page 11. If you want a garment with an easy-to-memorise stitch pattern that knits up quickly, Helen Metcalfe’s Rossmore sweater on page 52 is perfect! Emma Gaffney’s created a cute jumper to keep kids warm on page 16 – it has a really nice bobble detail to add interest.
Enjoy winter with our favourite Peanuts characters Snoopy and Woodstock over on page 25, and Victoria Marchant’s designed a pair of beautiful mitts on page 70 – these are perfect projects if you need to knit up any quick, last-minute gifts for someone!
Do you love the Brushwood top on page 20? Our friends at Rowan are offering readers the chance to win the yarn to knit it – we’re giving away £600 worth of Rowan Cotton Wool on page 57! We also chatted to brilliant knitting designer Christine Boggis (page 73) and Karie Westermann talks us through adding a ‘poison colour’ to our colourwork knits (page 40).
