The dark days seem to be slowly coming to an end – we've even had a few sightings of the sun – and I'm looking forward to the warmer months ahead. Longer says are soon approaching, and we all know what that means... more time to craft! So, this issue is packed with projects to get you making right away. Starting with the Step Into Spring card designs using Spellbinders stamp and die set over on page 8, and a sewing masterclass showcasing a beautiful prairie (page35). And because we all know how unpredictable spring can be, we have a Beirt Beret for yoou to knit to keep you warm in the spring winds (page 16).
However, if you are more in the mood to lay your stamp set, crochet hooks or knitting needles down and relax with a hot bew and something to read, we have you covered too. Sarah-Jayne is telling us all about what she has been up to recently in the world of crochet, and showing us the perfect pastel colour palette over on page 51. My personal favourite read this month is the Stitcher's Story, which delves into the world of textile art on page 11. Plus, we caught up with long-time friend, Lou Collins who is the face of CraftStash and TEXT{ures} to find what she has in store for us this year. (page 70)
We also have the return of our biggest competition ever! Cardmaker of the Year is back with a bang, with £17,000 worth of prizes for four lucky winners to share! Turn to page 24 to learn how you could win big, plus get some helpful tips from last year's winners Maggie Fielding and Elaine Horroll.
