There are some truly beautiful makes in this issue. Let’s start with our cover garment – designer Laura Barker has used alpaca yarn in gradient shades for a stunning yet lightweight entrelac jumper (page 11). For bolder shades, you could try Anni Howard’s quirky colourwork knit (page 56), or our gorgeous rich orange lace cardigan (page 34).
And it’s not just the garments that are floral-inspired; we have a double-knitted cowl (page 60) and two lovely Rowan cushion patterns! This issue also has textured wraps (page 54), striking home makes (page 36) plus a gorgeous baby knit sweeter than cherry pie (page 17).
If you’d prefer to sit among the fl owers rather than knit them, why not read one of our features? We have a handy guide to lace knitting on page 32, and find out about rainbow-inspired indie yarns on page 66. And have you ever wondered how sheep shearing works? Well wonder no more – in our feature on page 50, designer Zoë Potrac gave it a go!
