Knit Now 134 Digital Magazine
Welcome to the 10th birthday issue of Knit Now! That’s right, this magazine has been running for 10 years – and what a decade it has been! We’re delighted you’re here to celebrate with us, and we have so many treats in store this issue.
First of all, I have to mention our cover star, Dame Zandra Rhodes. Doesn’t she look fabulous? I chatted to her about her exciting new collaboration with West Yorkshire Spinners (page 20), PLUS we have the pattern for her Rainbow Texture scarf on page 23! Do let us know if you give it a go.
We also have twice as many patterns in this, our biggest ever issue. Will you make Anni Howard’s fun Atomic Sweater on page 16? The snuggly Fiesta Swing Sweater (page 55) or the stunning Fair Isle vest inspired by a William Blake poem (page 68)? One of our adorable baby knits (pages 26 and 84) or cute decorations for your tree (page 106)? We also have an array of gorgeous accessories for you – or for others! – plus a selection of cosy makes for the home, including the colourful cushion in beautiful Noro yarn (page 42).
And of course, we have plenty for you to read as well. We caught up with Debbie Bliss, who we interviewed for our first-ever issue! Read our new interview on page 44. We also look at Christmas jumpers (page 76), and share our top tips for lace knitting (page 40). Plus on page 52, we launch our first-ever CraftWorld Awards – a chance for you to champion the yarns, designers and local heroes that mean the most to you.
