The Festival of Quilts, Europe's biggest celebration of all things quilting, is excited to announce that entries are now open for its much-loved annual competition!
Whether you're a first-time entrant or a seasoned professional, if you enter, your quilt will be hung and celebrated at the NEC Birmingham this summer*.
Anna Baptise, Event Director, explains: “We believe every quilter deserves a moment in the spotlight, and that’s what makes our competition so special.
We don’t jury entries like most international shows do, so if you submit a quilt, it’s going on display for thousands of quilters to admire at NEC Birmingham! Join us in celebrating the vibrant world of quilting.”
This year’s prize pool is over £28,500 including a whopping £5,000 for the Handi Quilter Best in Show winner. With 15 categories, from Contemporary and Traditional to Modern and Sustainable, the competition makes space for every style and every story.
