Knit Now Issue 134 is on sale 7th October 2021 accross the UK

This special collector’s edition of Knit Now is packed full of treats for knitters of all skill levels. Inside the magazine, you’ll find a huge selection of patterns, including stylish women’s garments in sizes 6-36 and quick-make gifts for all the family. If you’re feeling nostalgic, don’t miss the official pattern for a Clangers Christmas jumper for kids. This issue also comes with two extra pattern books, adding up to a total of 268 pages of woolly goodness!

That’s right, this magazine has been running for ten years – and what a decade it has been! We’re delighted you’re here to celebrate with us, and we have so many treats in store this issue.

First of all, I have to mention our cover star, Dame Zandra Rhodes. Doesn’t she look fabulous? I chatted to her about her exciting new collaboration with West Yorkshire Spinners, PLUS we have the pattern for her Rainbow Texture scarf! Do let us know if you give it a go.

We also have twice as many patterns in this, our biggest ever issue. Will you make Anni Howard’s fun Atomic Sweater, the snuggly Fiesta Swing Sweater or the stunning Fair Isle vest inspired by a William Blake poem? One of our adorable baby knits or cute decorations for your tree? We also have an array of gorgeous accessories for you – or for others! – plus a selection of cosy makes for the home, including the colourful cushion in beautiful Noro yarn.

And of course, we have plenty for you to read as well. We caught up with Debbie Bliss, who we interviewed for our first ever issue! Read our new interview on page 44, and download Issue 1 for free for a little bit of nostalgia. We also look at Christmas jumpers, the history of knitting in women’s magazines, and share our top tips for lace knitting. There’s a special Reader Makes feature too – has your make been featured? Last but by no means least, we launch our first ever CraftWorld Awards – a chance for you to champion the yarns, designers and local heroes that mean the most to you.

I hope you enjoy our birthday issue – as with so many gifts, it was as nice to give as I hope it will be to receive!
