We have a very exciting offer for Knit Now fans everywhere! To celebrate the 10th anniversary issue of Knit Now (Issue 134, on sale 7th October 2021), you can now read the very first issue of Knit Now online! Like all Knit Now's, this issue is packed with patterns, ideas and great crafty reads - but it's fun to see how much has changed!

When we first launched, Knit Now was purely focussed on accessories and small knits - no garments at all! This was a fun challenge for the team in the early days but we love our garments so much now, it's impossible to imagine Knit Now without them. This stunning lace shawl from Patricia Martin and cosy socks from Michaela Moores were some of our favourites. Here's a fun fact for you - these socks were modelled by a 14-year-old Lily France, whose mum Amanda was our first photographer. Lily had already started designing her own patterns back then, but her following has grown hugely in recent years - pop over and say hi to her on Instagram!

You won't be surprised to see that our first issue was full of Christmas knits! The baby set by Torya Winters is still a team favourite, and former editor Kate uses the advent calendar she designed for this issue every year!

There are some parts of Knit Now which have stayed pretty similar through the years. We still love featuring interviews with our favourite designers - Issue 1 included a chat with Debbie Bliss so of course we had to catch up with her again this year! Check out Issue 134 for an up-to-date interview with this fabulous designer - it's so interesting to see how much has changed for her and how much is still the same. The Hot List is still a regular feature, though luckily our photography has improved a bit! And of course we couldn't forget our in-house expert Debbie Tomkies, who has headed up our technique tutorials from day one and is still a vital member of the team.
