Emma Jewell is here with a step-by-step guide to show you how to use Cricut Transfer Tape to transfer your vinyl designs onto your projects!
Welcome to our fantastic series looking at top tips and tricks to help you when using your Cricut Machines - this week we're showing you how to use Cricut Transfer Tape with ease!
In just a few easy steps, Cricut expert Emma Jewell shows you a quick demonstration of how to affix a pre-cut glitter die-cut design onto a mug using Cricut transfer tape and Cricut tools including the scraper to create pressure when transferring.
Emma talks about the importance of using the correct transfer tape, as it comes in two types, standard grip and strong grip which both serve different purposes depending on what surface you are transferring onto. These fantastic reusable tools are a fantastic item to have in your stash for Cricut projects. Make sure that the pre-cut design you are using has been weeded and is ready to be picked up before removing the backing from your tape! Emma also reiterates keeping the surface of the project clean and ready to receive the vinyl - and using the scraper to eliminate any air bubbles which may have formed during the transfer.
