Embossing powder

Paper or card stock

Piece of scrap paper

Heat gun

How to Heat Emboss -The fundamental technique can be broken down into 4 simple steps:

Stamp – Stamp your chosen design using an embossing ink/ink thick enough to emboss with.

Sprinkle – Sprinkle a generous amount of powder over the stamp so it is fully covered.

Clear- Remove the excess powder onto your piece of scrap paper and funnel back into its container to reduce waste.

Heat - Heat the powder with a heat gun until fully melted, taking care not to overheat as this could cause discolouring, bubbling or evaporation.

TOP TIP: Use a brush to remove any excess powder from your paper to prevent the oil from your fingers getting onto the card!
