You’re an inspiration - a colourful card of encouragement
Learn how to use your dies to create an embossed pattern and colour with watercolour pens. Add coloured, stamped, and heat embossed octagon tiles to finish.
Use the octagon panel die in an embossing sandwich in the die-cutting machine, making a strong debossed imprint in white cardstock but not cutting through it. Trim to a 12.5cm square.
Scribble different Aqua Flow markers onto a glass mat and spritz each one with water. Pick up and ‘smoosh’ the ink onto the debossed panel, wiping the acetate between colours and also allowing drying time.
Repeat on nine small squares of cardstock, but creating stronger layers of colour. Once completely dry, stamp different octagons on each one using VersaMark ink and white heat-emboss each one. Cut out and arrange on the panel, using 3D foam pads.
Affix the panel onto a square of white cardstock for firmness, then to the card blank using 3D foam pads.
Smoosh ink onto spare cardstock, stamp a sentiment and trim into separate words. Affix across the geometric design using 3D foam pads to finish.
