Yarn Storage Ideas
When you start to crochet you'll find that your yarn stash keeps mysteriously growing...no matter how much you have there's always an excuse to pop to the yarn shop and you couldn't possibly resist that bargain.

Have you got yours stored in bags? Do you find it a pain to find the colour you need. We've created a new Pinterest board full of ideas to store your growing yarn mountain.
There are a few things to consider:
1. Must be easy to find the yarn you want
2. Yarn should ideally be kept dust free
3. Yarn must be kept dry, away from any damp rooms
4. Out of direct sunlight if it's likely to be there for some time
We also think that there's no reason why you shouldn't make the display as beautiful as you can!

Sighhhhh..... isn't it beautiful!
Sarah of Repeat Crafter Me transformed an area under the stairs - whilst we don't all have such a beautiful light space to spare just for yarn there are some clever ways we can take inspiration from ideas like this.

Wine Racks for Yarn Storage
Sarah of Repeat Crafter Me also created this yarn storage idea using a wine rack.

Book Shelving for Yarn Storage
Amber from the blog Making a Home has used a bookcase to store her yarn - she had wanted something with glass doors to keep off dust, but found them to be far more pricey, so she decided on doing a little extra dusting!

CD Tower as Yarn Storage
With CD's on the way out in favour of digital music storage it means there are likely to be lots of second hand CD Towers available. This is a really slimline idea if space is at a minimum, this one belongs to blogger Morrgan of Morrgan's Creatures.

Or why not just go the whole hog and have an entire wall of yarn - that's one happy lady!
