Beautiful Box Frame Floral Wreath Card
Create this beautiful floral box card that experiments with depth and dimension, suitable for a range of occasions!
Using the second largest die from Nested Circles die set, create a circular card blank by placing the die over the fold.
Cut the fourth largest die from the card front to create a frame and score horizontally at halfway, then die-cut a circle frame from cream cardstock to fit onto the folded card front to create an easel card front – don’t assemble yet though!
Die-cut the Venetian Mirror using both dies to create a frame from coffee and cream cardstock. Lightly blend Wedgewood Green ink over the cream frame. Cut both frames in half at top and bottom and layer onto the die-cut frame as shown.
Die-cut the Emperor Wreath from the Wild At Heart paper, cut away moth image and cut the remainder in half. Attach over the frame.
Stamp the smallest flower onto a selection of papers from the English Country Garden paper pad and ink 22 with Lavender Dash.
Colour eleven of the flowers with Wedgewood Green ink. Fussy-cut all of the flowers and trim into some of them to create more pieces and assemble as before, embellishing with glitter and clear sparkle pen.
Punch a small hole in the centre of the assembled flowers and thread a trimmed gem from the spray through it, securing with a glue dot.
Die-cut a circle from coffee cardstock and secure to the easel base. Cut the wreath as before but keep it intact this time and attach onto the base.
Cut the ‘moth’ from the coffee and Wild At Heart papers and adhere the coffee-coloured die-cut onto an offcut of cream cardstock and cut around the outline. Attach to the wreath as shown.
Add clear sparkle to the patterned paper moth and affix onto the base, but only use adhesive on the moth’s head, manipulating the wings so they stand up from the base.
Attach the final three flowers as stoppers. Construct a box to fit the card if desired and embellish with co-ordinating flowers to finish the effect!
