With love - A Gold Heat Embossed Butterfly Card

Cut watercolour cardstock to 11.5x16.5cm and wipe it over with an anti-static bag.

Stamp the butterfly with VersaMark ink, cover with detail gold embossing powder, tap off the excess and heat emboss.

Colour the image using the Spectrum Aqua watercolour pens. Scribble some colour from each pen onto a glass craft mat and pick up the colour with a damp paintbrush, blending the colours with the damp brush.

Create a 18x13cm tent fold card from turquoise cardstock and attach the coloured image with 3D foam.

Stamp the sentiment with VersaMark ink and emboss with gold powder. Matt onto dark blue cardstock. Take a length of gold thread and wrap it around your fingers a few times. Attach the looped thread to the card front and attach the sentiment on top. Snip a few of the looped ends of thread and add gems to finish.
