Wish upon a star - a delightful and contemporary any-occasion card
Learn how to create this stunning bokeh effect card using stamps, stencils, and lots of different but complementary shades of ink.
Cut a large star from clear acetate to create a stencil for your project.
Lay the star over a 10x14.8cm panel of white cardstock and stamp different-sized circles through the aperture in shades of blue, purple and green. Overlap the circles and shades until the star aperture is full.
Add white circles using an acetate stencil, blending white pigment ink with the sponge daubers. Once complete, move the star stencil to another part of the card panel and repeat twice more.
Stamp and heat-emboss the sentiment in silver then stamp smaller stars in pale shades on the panel.
Add Washi tape strips down each side of the card front and pop the central card panel up on 3D foam tape in the middle to complete the design.
