Wax Resist Ombray Effect Card To A Wonderful Friend

Emboss a piece of wax paper, sandwich it between two pieces of white cardstock, and use an iron set at max to apply heat evenly. Once the wax has cooled, add colour using Distress Ink and water.

Trim and matt the background onto the card front, use the scraps to create banners and mount them onto the card from using 3D foam pads.

Create a pink banner and layer it on top. Die-cut a white heart, colour wash it and secure it to the banner using 3D foam pads.

Die-cut the word ‘friend’ three times from white cardstock, stack the die-cuts, affix to the card front and create the rest of the sentiment using a DYMO Label Maker.

Use a white gel to add borders to the design and add a scattering of pearls to finish.
