Waving hello- nautical gift box

Use the largest label die to cut the shape from dark blue cardstock, then place the card shape on the scoreboard and line up the shape at the scalloped corners. Score each side of the label shapes in the same way.

Fold and burnish the score lines and trim a notch from each corner to make the tabs. Use Tacky Glue to hold the tabs and make the box lid.

The top of the box measures 5.7x9.1cm, so the finished base needs to be 2mm smaller to fit inside box – in this case 5.5x8.9cm. The box here is 5cm deep so add 2x5cm = 10cm. For the box base, cut a patterned 15.5x18.9cm panel, then place on the scoreboard and score each side at 5cm.

Fold and burnish the score lines and cut notches at each corner to make tabs, then adhere the tabs to create the box base. Stamp the sentiment and use a smaller label die to die-cut. Die-cut two shells and a starfish and arrange with the sentiment on the box lid.
