Vintage Inspired Happy Birthday Balloon With Script background
Learn how to create this quaint card using stamping, die-cutting, ink blending and dry embossing, finished with string and gems
1
Take a 21.5x14.5cm kraft cardstock and fold in half to create a card blank.
2
Trim pale cream Graphic 45 paper to 10 x 14cm. Stamp one half of this paper with the background script stamp.
3
Highlight the edges with ink and mount directly onto card front. Die-cut two baubles using two co-ordinating patterned papers, and trim just below the bow. Highlight and shade the edges with ink.
4
Attach twine to reverse of die-cut shapes, then arrange and adhere with 3D foam pads to the card front.
5
Emboss an 11.5x2cm green cardstock, cut a flag shape into one end, and attach to card front, ensuring the lines of the balloon are secured too.
6
Stamp, trim and adhere the sentiment and frame to the green banner to finish.
