Connect the cutting machine to the PC and log on to your Design Space account. Open a new project and add the text for the poem, selecting an appropriate font for cutting – one with single or multiple layers. The project used ‘A Child’s Year’ font. Resize the text as desired.

Search for and select a hand and foot image from the image library. Duplicate the images and flip one to create a pair.

Change the hand and feet image colours to be the same so that they will cut on the same mat.

Cut the poem from black Iron-on Lite and the hands and feet images from pink Glitter Iron-on, ensuring you mirror-image them. Follow the on-screen prompts and select the appropriate option on the material setting list.

Carefully remove the iron-on vinyl from the cutting mat by gently bending the mat away from the vinyl, minimising air bubbles.

Use the weeder tool and Bright Pad to carefully remove the unwanted iron-on vinyl.

Use the Easy Press or household iron and press cloth to apply the poem and images to the prewashed sleepsuit, following the heat temperature and duration settings detailed in the Easy Press guide www.help.cricut.com/easypress-recommended-settings
