You’ll need

  • kit stamp set
  • jars
  • tealights
  • plain IndigoBlu rice paper
  • white IndigoBlu Gee-Sso good gesso
  • Sargasso Sea & Daffodil IndigoBlu translucent paints
  • Glass & Ceramic IndigoBlu Slap It On

1

Measure the circumference of the jars and cut rice paper to fit with a small overlap. Measure the correct depth and cut the rice paper to size.

2

Apply a thin coat of gesso onto the outside of the jars. Once dry, add a layer of translucent paint onto the jar over the top of the gesso.

3

Stamp the rice paper with images from the stamp set; for the squares, use the translucent paint from the opposite jar colour to infill.

4

Once dry, add Slap It On onto the outside of the jars and the reverse of the rice paper, then adhere together.

5

Apply a coat of Slap It On over the top of the rice paper to seal it; place in the oven for 30 minutes at 140 ͦC.

6

Once cool, attach the wire to make the handles for the lanterns so they can hang indoors or outdoors.
