Sympathy Die Cut and Stamping Watercolour Card
Follow the step-by-step guide to create a watercoloured background and image, and to create the spotlight die-cut effect.
This card design has quite a few raised images, however this time there is no masking involved, all the images are stamped separate from one another.
Complete your card using a scripty word die and flourish die and a stamped sentiment too, then to add some subtle sparkle, use a clear sparkle pen to coat the scripty word die and flourish.
To tie the bronze metallic paint into the rest of the card, add Nuvo Glitter Drops and gold gel pen highlights to create a butterfly trail.
Use the coordinating die to die-cut your coloured image. Be careful where you place your low tack tape when die-cutting, because we want to keep both pieces for our card.
Add the background panel to your card blank, then raise the die-cut with 3D foam pads to create the spotlight die-cut look.
You can see the dimension that the 3D foam pads give. This also enables you to tuck a sentiment banner underneath the edge if you wish.
