Sweet Happy Birthday Gift Box

1

Use the largest rectangular die to cut the shape from patterned card, then place the card shape on scoreboard and line up the shape at the edge of the scoreboard. Score each side of the rectangle at 2cm.

2

Fold and burnish the score lines and trim a notch from each corner to make tabs. Use Tacky Glue to hold the tabs and make the box lid – you may need to trim a little from the bottom edge of the tab so that it does not show when glued.

3

The top of box measures 5.8cx9cm, so the finished base needs to be 2mm smaller to fit inside box – in this case 5.6x8.8cm. The box is 3cm deep so add 2x3cm = 6cm. For the box base cut a blue 11.6x14.8cm panel, then place on scoreboard and score each side at 3cm.

4

Fold and burnish the score lines and cut notches at each corner to make tabs, then adhere the tabs to create the box base. Die-cut a smaller label from light blue cardstock and attach a die-cut sentiment. Add to the box lid with 3D foam tape and gems as shown to finish.
