Cut the largest oval die from pearlescent card, then place the card shape on scoreboard against the edge using the pattern on the die-cut to make sure it is level. Score each side of the oval at 2.5cm.

Fold and burnish the score lines and trim a notch from each corner to make tabs. You will need to trim small pieces of the swirls off to make sure the corners are tidy. Use Tacky Glue to hold the tabs and make the box lid.

The top of the box measures 7.6x5cm, so the finished base needs to be 2mm smaller to fit inside box – in this case 7.4x4.8cm. The box here is 4cm deep so add 2x4cm = 8cm. For the box base cut a blue 15.4x12.8cm cardstock. Place on the scoreboard and score each side at 4cm.

Fold and burnish the score lines and cut notches at each corner to make tabs, then adhere the tabs to create the box base. Die-cut the sentiment from blue cardstock and attach to the box lid, adding paper flowers to the lid and gems as shown to finish.
