Star Shaped Christmas Die Cut Card Design
Create this Christmas cheer, star, die cut card using embossing folders and embellishment
Fold a piece of dark red cardstock in half, place a large star die over the fold and die-cut to create the shaped card blank.
Use the same star die to die-cut a red star, emboss it using the snowflake embossing plate from the ‘Joy’ project and affix it to the card front.
Trim the two bottom back points of the star so that the card stands upright and die-cut small and large triangles from contrasting green cardstock.
Follow the step-by-step guide to create a custom embossing plate using star die-cuts, ink up the plate with VersaMark ink and emboss the large tree topper.
Cover it with gold embossing powder, heat set it and layer both tree toppers onto the card front using 3D foam pads.
Die-cut the sentiment from pale red cardstock, build it onto the card front and embellish with sequins. Add a gold die-cut star to the top of the small tree to finish.
