1

Create a scalloped card blank by die-cutting the shape just over the fold of the card blank. Cut a second scalloped circle, edge with Distress Ink and stick over the card blank to get the full shape.

2

Cut two smaller matching scalloped circles from patterned paper. Cut one into 12 sections (it helps to number the scallops on the reverse beforehand if the pattern is important) and adhere every other one to the whole shape, bringing it in 2mm from the edge.

3

Die-cut a circle of white cardstock, ink lightly, stamp leaves in two shades of brown around the edge and add a sentiment. Matt onto a circle of patterned paper.

4

Stamp a hedgehog and bird’s body onto white cardstock, colour with the watercolour markers and a waterbrush and cut out, leaving a border round the hedgehog to retain the prickles. Blend ink round the edge of the hedgehog to match the circle. Add white gel pen to the eyes and nose of the hedgehog.

5

Place in position without adhering, then stamp the bird in the right place on the card front. Affix all the elements in position using 3D foam pads as shown and add a gold bow to finish.
