Sorry card
I wanted something which delivered the sentiment but made a style statement at the same time. I think I achieved this by keeping it simple and the result was "less is more. The steps I followed were
· Folded a single sheet of A4 multipurpose cardstock to create A5 tent fold card base
· Inked front on all 4 edges using Spectrum Noir Midas Metallic Pigment Blush Inkpad enough to cover the gap around the 5x7 burgundy cardstock
· Stuck the 5x7 cardstock in the centre of the card base
· Stamped SORRY onto multipurpose card using Spectrum Noir Finesse Alcohol Proof Dye Inkpad
· Cut to size required creating a topper which fits onto the 5x7 cardstock so it left a suitable burgundy border
· Inked all 4 edges of SORRY topper using Spectrum Noir Midas Metallic Pigment Blush Inkpad
· Coloured the lilies using Spectrum Noir Alcohol Pens blending as required
· Centred topper and stick onto the burgundy layer on the front of the card base
· Opened card base and stamp the SUNSHINE flowers in preferred position using Spectrum Noir Finesse Alcohol Proof Dye Black Inkpad
· Stamped the SUNSHINE sentiment in preferred position using the Spectrum Noir Midas Metallic Pigment Rose Satin Inkpad
· Coloured the flowers using Spectrum Noir Alcohol Pens blending as required
I haven't posted for a while, busy caring for my disabled husband.
