This issue’s Birds of a Feather set has to be one of my all-time favourites. The embossing folder is striking, the stamps are stunning and I’m so excited to provide a selection of papers and glitter card that co-ordinates perfectly too! The amazing SCP Design Team was thrilled to have the chance to craft with this one – and I just love their results so much. Nicky is bringing her usual inky goodness over on page 9, finding amazing ways to use the embossing folder in her cards, whilst over on page 33 Helen Griffin is back to offer up her gorgeous gift wrap and keepsake creations.

This set is ideal for all-occasion makes, and better still – perfect for both men and women, and so we tasked Sue Hastead with designing a range of projects to demonstrate just that – turn to page 60 to see the results! As usual, we wanted to ensure we were challenging your cardmaking skills. We’ve got a patterned paper masterclass showcasing creative ways to make them the star of the show (page 42), as well as inventive colour-block inspiration using Gina K stamps on page 66.

We even spent 10 minutes having a much-needed catch up with Sam Calcott, the brains behind the super-popular Made To Surprise products (page 16) – we couldn’t wait to find out what 2022 has in store for her. With the latest releases from Crafter’s Companion (page 53) and Creative Expressions (page 78), digital downloads from Hunkydory (page 75) and an amazing Tried & Tested where the Crafts Too Watercolour Media mat is put through its paces – we really do have something for everyone this issue. With all of this, plus the usual competitions, news, shopping and giveaways, I think I’ll leave you to it.
