Sewing Projects - Easter Crafts

This very cute Easter bunny bag can be used for adding lots of little Easter gifts, and of course the basket itself is the best part of the gift!  The sewing blogger, Liesl Gibson of Oliver + S fame, has used a Zakka pattern to create the boxy basket and then customised it to add little bunny ears and a cute Easter bunny face - she's included templates for her customisations.   You can find tutorials online for free for these boxy fabric baskets, for example we found this one - square fabric basket pattern.

These little fabric Easter eggs will look great as a table decoration, or you could use them as pincushions.  The tutorial to make these sweet little fabric eggs is over on sewing blogger Kim Vallee's website - Fabric Easter Egg Tutorial.  These would actually look great all year round and could even be adapted into tree decorations!  Do you have an Easter tree?  They became quite popular recently!

These little bunny sachets are adorable.  They can be stuffed, filled with silica beads or used as little scent sachets by filling them with Pot Pourri.  You could even embroider a little pair of eyes and nose on to make them extra cute.  Perfect as little Easter gifts and a really quick project to sew up - all the details are over on craft blog "Craft Passion" - really useful step by step instructions for every detail.
