I used the Brick die to cutout onto gold carstock and orange paper, using my Gemini die cutting machine.  The cut was clean and crisp, in one go for both types of card and handmade  paper too. They were no fraying or tearing of any of the papers. You can use the outline and brick and swap with different colours to create design, see below. Then I used the gold brick die-cut and orange outline to create one design and then put it on the page. I created a ledge and placed a flower pot with flowers over the brick design.  It is a beautiful die made of quality material.  I will use it again for future projects.

I used the hesian die using different materials like card and vellum.  The card one I had to run through the machine twice where as the vellum was ok first time round.

Texture Stencils - Splattered Ink & Irregular Paint Drips

I used different materials to try these stencils out, on card, paper, handmade paper, wallpaper.  First I used ink pads on splattered ink stencil and it worked very well, easy to use and sturdy.  Then I tried out the irregular paint drips, somewhat the thin drips were not easy to hold down. I used the repositionable spray on card and used mica inks, but these bled through.  But I like the outcome as looked like natural paint drips and can be used for many mixed media projects. The stencils are good quality and sturdy to use. See some images below.

Paint Crate Project

I used an recycled fruit crate to create this for using as paint storage. 1. I started off by painting it with white Gesso.

2. Then I used kitchen towel to decopatch all over.

3. Then I painted the crate with my main colour.

4. Next I used the Splattered Stencil and glitter paste for all the four sides.

5. For the inside I used the paint drips stencil with chalk paint inside the crate.

6. I painted two paint brushes and decorated these with washi tape, then put the two paint colours and attached it to the inside of the crate.

7. I decorated one corner with a flower from recycled bottle I had made.

I enjoyed using the Creative Texture dies and stencils thoroughly and they are very good quality.  As with everything you have to try it out to like it.  I will be using for further projects.  Will post them as I complete them.
