Review - Cosmic Shimmer Opal Blaze

I hope you found the short videos informative but I would urge any crafter who likes to add  a bit of Sparkle to their projects to perhaps try the Opal Blaze for themselves.

In summary personally I feel that I can achieve similar results using the Other polishes available in the Cosmic Shimmer Range.  I have Cosmic Shimmer Opal Polish, Metallic Gilding Polish and some of the Lustre Polishes already in my Stash in a range of colours and I find that these are much better value for money and are so much more versatile in ways in which they can be used.  I  feel that Opal Blaze polish works fabulously directly onto black card, however, with the Opal and Lustre Polishes you get great results on black and white card which makes them my go to products for creating stunning backgrounds along with highlighting etc.

I found that the Opal Blaze polish dried quickly on my brush and I felt the need to keep adding a dab of water to keep my brush soft and pliable, again the other polishes in the range react better in use with added water than the opal Blaze does.

I wont be rushing out to buy this product and find it to be a little expensive considering in my opinion its limited uses.

Project included the use of Cosmic Shimmer Opal Blaze Polish in Pink Blueberry and Sapphire Grape, Cosmic Shimmer Gilding Flakes in Mulled Wine, Cosmic Shimmer Opal Polish in Green Lemons and Cosmic Shimmer Metallic Gilding Polish in Citrus Green and Fern.
