Quick Crafts - Make your own DIY Decoupage Plant Pots in 5 minutes!

Welcome to our brand-new series of Quick Crafts! In these videos, I will be talking you through a super-quick craft from different areas of the arty world!

Today is a fun video which talks you through adding decoration to bland terracotta pots that you have at home! There are lots of different ways you can add interest to your plant pots, you may have tried painting them, drawing with pens - this look keeps the original colour but with a floral twist! All you need is a pot, Mod Podge (or any other sealant), a brush and fabric (great for using up scraps). Note you can achieve this effect with napkins or decoupage paper.

It's super simply, carefully cut out focal elements from your fabric, decide on placement, and then apply glue to the surface. The advantage of the fabric is that it retains it's colour and that it bends around the curves of the pot. Seal the tops of the fabric with another layer, you can be generous with the glue - remember that it dries clear! Why not try this with a range of different crafts for matching designs?
