Pattern Updates: Knit Now 93

The following pattern updates have been reported in Issue 93.

A Stitch in Time Knit-along: Part 10, page 30

Row 8 should read as follows: P2, k2, p2, *smock 6, p2; rep from * to last 4 sts, k2, p2.

Enchanted Wood Shawl, page 24

Set Up Rows should read:

Row 1 (RS): K2, yo, k to last 2 sts, yo, k2.2 sts inc'd

Row 2: K2, kyok, p to last 3 sts, kyok, k2.4 sts inc'd

Rep rows 1 - 2 twice more. 23 sts

Row 15 of written instructions for body pattern should read:

Row 15: K2, yo, k3, *[K1, yo] twice, k3, k2tog, ssk, k3, yo, k1, yo; rep from * to last 6 sts, k4, yo, k2.2 sts inc'd

For body, row 7 should instruct to increase 5 stitches, not decrease.  

Repeat instruction for sleeves should read: Cont in St st as set by last 2 rows,

AT THE SAME TIME inc 1 st at each end of row on fifth and every following fourth row. 64 (68, 72) sts

Row 4 should read: K5, p3, k6, p3, k4, p3, k6, p3, k5.  

Row 8 should read: K5, p3, k4, p3, k8, p3, k4, p3, k5.

In the pattern for the reindeer finger puppet, the following instructions are missing:  

Cont. from end of Rudolph's Body & Head

Rows 30-32: Beg with a p WS row,work 3 rows in st st.

Row 33 (shape eyeline): k4, (k2tog,k1) four times, k4 (16 sts).

Rows 34-37: beg with a p WS row, work 4 rows in st st.

Row 38: (p2, p2tog) to end (12 sts).

Break yarn, thread through all sts and pull tightly.

Fasten off.  

Nose

Using yarn B, cast on 10 sts.

Break yarn, thread through all sts and pull tightly.

Fasten off.

Stitch the sides together to create a nose.  

Ears: make two

Using yarn F, cast on 4 sts.

Row 1: p to end.

Row 2: (k2tog) twice (2 sts).

Row 3: p2tog (1 st).

Fasten off.  

Long antlers: make two

Using yarn E, cast on 3 sts.

Work ani-cord for 7 rows.

Break yarn, thread through all sts and pull tightly.

Fasten off.  

Short antlers: make two

Using yarn E, cast on 3 sts.

Work ani-cord for 4 rows.

Break yarn, thread through all sts and pull tightly.

Fasten off. Sew one short piece to the side of each long piece.
