Papercraft Essentials Issue 225 Is On Sale 11th May
Welcome to the latest issue of Papercraft Essentials! This issue, we are bringing you a 153-element Potting Shed paper pad plus bonus sentiment sticks. I have really enjoyed this kit - the imagery is fun and makes you want to sit and enjoy your own garden in glorious sunshine and the team have worked well to showcase this in their makes. I know you are going to love the papers, toppers, templates, sticks and everything that you can create using them. The kit will allow you to make all-occasion cards and gifts easily and it truly makes some fabulous and exciting designs, suitable for year-round projects as you’ll see throughout the pages of this magazine.
The Design Team have created 16 stunning projects for you to try your hand at, starting with a look at how to use your kit from Jessica Rourke. Then, Sarah Jane Smallwood-Smith shows you how to use the kit to make cards for the special men in your life! Mel Jess has created some stunning 3D makes for all occasions, including a fabulous gardening journal, amongst others. Finally, Marta Debicka has shown you how to create designs for special occasions, to give you more inspiration about what you can do with this extremely versatile kit!
We have also got some ideas to make your stash go further, such as a beginner’s guide to using your dies as stamps from Sarah Phelan. We have clever one kit makes from Hunkydory, using their Heartfelt Occasions collection. Nicky Gilburt has shared her ideas for using your nail varnishes up on your projects and cards. Vanessa Hodgson has shown us how to create creations with images split in various ways to create dimension and different looks. Plus, we have Teresa Morgan showing us how to create the offset stripes technique on our makes.
This issue is jam-packed with ideas and inspiration and I know you’ll be itching to get started with your crafting, so I shall leave you to it and don’t forget to share your makes with me!
Until next time,
Happy crafting,
