Papercraft Essentials issue 224 is on sale 13th April
The brand-new issue of Papercraft Essentials is on sale this week with an exclusive Safari Adventure cardmaking kit
Welcome to the latest issue of Papercraft Essentials! I can’t believe how quickly this year is going – it’ll be Christmas again before we know it! This issue, we are bringing you a 98-element Safari Adventure cardmaking kit. I have really enjoyed this kit, the imagery is fun and tropical, and it really makes you want to book your own safari adventure. The team have
worked well to showcase this in their makes. I know you are going to love the papers, toppers, sequins, acetate and everything that you can create using them. The kit will allow you to make all-occasion cards and gifts easily. It truly makes some fabulous and exciting designs, suitable for year-round projects, as you’ll see throughout the pages of this magazine.
The Design Team have created 16 stunning projects for you to try your hand at, starting
with a look at how to use your kit from Teresa Morgan. Then, I show you how to use the
kit to make cards for any adventurous wanderers you may know! Sarah Jane Smallwood- Smith has created some amazing 3D makes for all occasions, including a stunning notebook amongst others. Finally, Verity Biddlecombe has shown how you to create designs for the men in your life to give you more inspiration with what you can do with this extremely versatile kit!
We have also got some ideas to make your stash go further, such as a beginner’s guide to partial die-cut panel cards from Sarah Jackman Read. We have clever one-kit makes from Craft Consortium using the Belle Fleur collection. Mel Jess shares her ideas for upcycling the ribbon and lace scraps lying around your craft space. Vanessa Hodgson has shown us how to create the shine-on-shine technique and incorporate it into our creations. Plus, we have fabulous new products from Woodware and Julie Hickey.
This issue is jam-packed with ideas and inspiration and I know you’ll be itching to get started with your crafting, so I shall leave you to it and don’t forget to share your makes with me!
Until next time,
Happy crafting,
