Welcome to the latest issue of Papercraft Essentials. This issue, we are bringing you a Simply Made Crafts complete festive decorations kit. I’ve really enjoyed working with Helen on this kit and she really shows you how to get the most from it. I know you are going to love this kit and everything that you can create using it. The kit will allow you to make Christmas decorations and gifts easily, or build up designs using the die-cut toppers in the kit to create Christmas cards. It truly makes some cute and sophisticated designs, as you’ll see throughout the magazine.

The Design Team has created 16 wonderful projects for you to try your hand at, starting with a look at how to use your kit from Helen Griffin, with her fabulous 3D projects. Then, Amy Wilks shows us how to make fun, last-minute Christmas cards using the kit and the download papers! Sarah Jackman Read has shown us how to get clean, simple and effective makes from this kit, so you know how to make the decorations and gifts efficiently and quickly. Finally, I have made another fun and quick Christmas card to give you more inspiration about what you can do with this versatile kit!

We have also got some ideas to make your stash go further, such as a beginner’s guide from Teresa Morgan on how to effectively use spotlight stamping on your projects. We have stunning Art Deco-inspired masculine makes from Uniko and Glenda Hall shows us how to combine two crafts with these stitched ideas on her projects. Sarah Phelan has created some wonderful gifting ideas to use up your old wallpaper and borders. Plus, we have fabulous new products from CraftStash and Chloe’s Creative Cards.
