Papercraft Essentials 215 on sale 4th August
Welcome to the latest issue of Papercraft Essentials. In this issue, we’re bringing you a 213-element Countdown to Christmas luxury 8x8” foiled paper pad – it’s the perfect pad to kick-start your Christmas crafting.
Plus, there’s a box template for you to create gift boxes or even make your own advent calendar by making up 25 boxes and adding the numbers onto them, then fill with treats. I’ve always loved the nutcracker ballet and have an army of nutcracker soldiers every Christmas, so it has been so much fun for me to work with this kit, as you’ll see throughout the 84 pages of this magazine.
The Design Team has created 16 stunning projects for you to try your hand at, starting with some clean and simple cards from Katie Skilton. Then, Mel Jess has stunned us here at PE HQ with her gorgeous 3D projects that we are sure you will love! I have created three cards that focus on The Nutcracker ballet elements of the pad, and Sarah Phelan has created lovely layered cards to use up different components from the kit; there is so much for you to make and do with this 8x8” pad
We have also got some ideas to make your stash go further, such as a skill-building masterclass from Nicky Gilburt on how to make platform pop-up cards using a Lawn Fawn die; Ingrid Vichova shares her ways of utilising your poinsettia stash with all-occasion fabulous ideas or learn how to iris-fold with Sarah Jackman Read’s helpful guides. Plus, we have new Paddington products from CraftStash, and Chloe shares her brand-new launch with us.
This issue is jam-packed with ideas and inspiration, and I know you’ll be itching to get started with your Christmas crafting, so I shall leave you to it – and don’t forget to share your makes with me!
