diary
gold mirror card
purple cardstock
lace
gems
paint brush
3D foam pads
Mod Podge
purple and white paint
alphabet foam sticker

Step by step

  1. Cover a diary in a coat of white paint to cover the base layer. Once dry add purple paint with some white dragged through for contrast.
  2. Once the paint has dried cover in gloss or Mod Podge to protect the paint.
  3. Cut a layer of gold mirror card and layer with purple cardstock and one of the patterned papers. Use a punch on the corners before adhering together and affixing to the diary.
  4. Cut another strip of the mirror card with the purple cardstock, wrap lace around and adhere too one side.
  5. Pick a topper and make another layer to fit, punching the corners and adhere to the diary with 3D foam pads with the topper.
  6. Finish with some die-cut or alphabet stickers and gems to decorate.
