Painted daisies - a delicate and beautiful floral card for any occasion

1

Use a large scalloped die to create a base from the card blank. Cut another scalloped circle from white cardstock and adhere to the card front.

2

Cut a slightly smaller plain circle from green cardstock and the next smallest circle from stamping card. Use the widest brush to colour the small white circle with Light Taupe paint.

3

Apply white and pink acrylic paint to a work mat and use the scourer to stipple paint on as a background.

4

Stamp two daisies and two leaves. Paint the leaves using a combination of light green and Apple Green, picked up on two sides of a ½” brush. Add in the stalks freehand using the round paintbrush - water down the acrylic paint a little to make it easier to paint narrow lines.

5

Apply fuchsia paint to your work surface and use to paint the daisy petals, following the instructions on the laminate guide. Allow to dry. Repeat using the white paint, allowing some of the pink to show through.

6

Using the stencil brush, paint in the flower centres. Add dots of white and pink paint around the flowers to create texture.

7

Layer the circles and affix to the card front.
