One In A Million-Bright Bee card Perfect To Say Thanks
Create this lovely card with die-cutting, paper piecing, layers and stamping
Layer an 11.5cm square of rust cardstock onto a slightly larger piece of orange cardstock then attach to a white 12.5cm-square card blank.
Die-cut two honeycomb sections from yellow cardstock. Affix one piece at the right side of the card front near to the top corner and the other piece at the left-hand side near to the bottom corner of the card front.
Die-cut a circle of yellow cardstock, layer onto a slightly larger white circle, place the bee die in the centre and cut it out to create an aperture. Secure a circle of vellum to the reverse to cover the opening.
Die-cut a bee from black cardstock then place inside the bee aperture. Die-cut another bee from orange cardstock, remove the body pieces from the die and inlay them inside the black bee.
Cut one more bee from white cardstock, and inlay the eyes. Attach the circle to the centre of the card front using 3D foam pads.
Die-cut honeycomb sections from white, rust and orange cardstock. Remove the honeycomb ‘waste’ pieces from the die and place them in three groups around the circle.
