On this special day bonus card

The paper downloads with issue 103 of Creative Stamping are great if inky backgrounds aren’t quite your thing, or if you are lacking in time. Simply print and cut up, or use them in your die-cutting machine to make shapes.

Materials

  • Snowflakes and Butterflies stamp set & paper downloads
  • white A6 card blank
  • white cardstock
  • Milled Lavender Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink
  • Onyx Black VersaFine inkpad
  • alcohol markers
  • gold gems
  • circle nesting dies
  • manual die-cutting machine

Download and print blue inky paper and trim two strips to fit the card front. Stamp and gold heat-emboss a sentiment on the right-hand side. Adhere to the card front.

Stamp butterflies in black on white cardstock and die-cut into circles. Stamp a snowflake using Milled Lavender ink and cut into a circle too.

Cut one size larger circle for each stamped image and colour the edge using alcohol markers. Layer together and affix across the card front.

Use gems to add detail and colour to the elements on the card.
