Sparkling Christmas Card

You will need

  • teal 14.5cm square card blank
  • white & teal cardstock
  • teal mirror card
  • purple glitter card
  • Charming Pink, Warm Breeze, Paradise Purple Delight & Rain Forest VersaFine Clair inkpads

Use shades of pigment ink to stamp a pattern of baubles around a 13.5cm square of white cardstock. Affix to the card blank.

Place cardstock and the bauble stamp on a stamping platform, then use finger daubers to apply Distress Oxide Ink across the stamp in blended stripes. Stamp onto the cardstock and repeat if needed, then dry using a heat tool.

Die-cut into a bauble, then press a clear embossing inkpad all over the area. Cover with clear embossing glitter, then heat to set for an all-over glitter glaze.

Stamp and cut around the sentiment, then glaze in the same way. Affix to the bauble using 3D foam pads, then add a clasp and a bow.

Layer a rectangle of glitter card onto white and teal mirror card, then affix to the card front using 3D foam pads. Add sequins around the background to finish.

Using embossing ink and embossing glitter over a stamped die-cut is such an easy way of adding an extra-special finish to your embellishments.
