A Beginner's Guide To Macramé

What is Macramé?

Macramé is a form of fibre artwork which is used to make everything from wall hangings and plant hangers to jewellery, bags, and even clothing. Using simple materials like twine, jute, hemp, or yarn, macramé can as basic simple or advanced as you would like. Once you've got the hang of the knots and weaving process, it's easy to incorporate embellishments such as glass or wooden beads, as well as dyed threads to add your own unique spin to projects!
