More free skirt patterns to sew!

We have another great collection of free skirt patterns and tutorials for you to try this summer!Skirts are a great project to make up, especially for newcomers to dressmaking. We've shared lots of great skirt patterns on our previous posts - Simple Summer Skirt Tutorials and 5 Free Skirt Patterns to SewThis time we are back with even more that we have found across the blogosphere from talented dressmakers writing about sewing and sharing sewing tutorials. It's amazing how much support you can find when you start dressmaking.

First up we have this fabulous completely free skirtsewing pattern designed by Lisa Comfort of Sew Over It - we love the full skirt which gives it a vintage look.

In Issue 30 of love sewing we share the stylish Vera Wrap Skirt pattern and step by step instructions, you can find a copy in your local newsagents or supermaket or if they've sold out order a copy online at www.moremags.com. It's a very practical skirt, great for casual summer wear or just as wearable with tights in winter.We thought we'd look around for more lovely and 100% free patterns and tutorials for sewing skirts for you!We found lots of great free tutorials over on Leanne Barlow's blog of Elle Apparel - here are two of our favourites.

Sew up a pretty pleated skirt, it looks gorgeous in a big floral print like Leanne has used - she has step by step photo tutorial on her blog for drafting and sewing up this skirt pattern.

We also loved this knit jersey pencil skirt pattern. Do have a good look around leanne's blog, it's so packed with tutorials for your whole wardrobe!

Want a skirt pattern that's even more simple? Bev from blog Flamingo Toes has a 15 minute easy skirt tutorial for you - now that's a challenge set! Andrea deHeart shares a pattern for a clever reversible skirt over on makezine.comThere is a beginner and a more advanced version.
