It's finally here! The first-ever Mental Health UK Premium Magazine! I hope that as you flick through this magazine, you’ll be inspired to create a wonderful array of positive projects and kind-hearted cards to send to loved ones to let them know that you are thinking of them.
Mental health issues are more common than you first think, with 1 in 4 of us being affected by one or more of them at some point over our lives, something I have experienced and continue to do so since the age of 19. Now well over a decade later, with GP and NHS help, as well as the helpful information and techniques I’ve learnt from MHUK, on this somewhat of a passion project, you could say I am managing them.
Both Mental Health UK and I hope that, not just through the power of papercrafting, but also the informative guides inside this magazine, you can help support a loved one or maybe yourself to begin to talk openly to people about still scary subject matter. Throughout these positive-filled pages, you’ll find ideas on how to create a faux stained-glass window effect, quick and batch-making ideas, two mindful makes, cards for the men in your life, home décor designs and guides on how to bring the RHS-worthy blooms to life!
