Can you tell us how you ended up becoming a professional paper crafter, what was your journey into this career?

I first started crafting at my mothers knee, she was in to all sorts of things upcycling furniture, interior design, soft crafts and floristry. However I got in to paper crafting through my daughter and sister in law. Taighlor went to stay with Sharon for the weekend and learnt how to do heat embossing. When she came home and I saw what she had made I just had to have all the products needed to do it too.

Can you tell us about your range of products

My product range is very varied and contains, stamps, stencils, MDF and embellishments  as well as lots of wet mediums including  gesso, ink sprays, texture pastes, paints and gritty toppings.

What are your main influences when it comes to inspiring your new ranges

I love very organic looking structures within nature and amazing pops of colour.

I'm also obsessed with anything shabby chic or antique looking too.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to follow in your footsteps and make crafting their full time job?

My advice  would be find what you enjoy doing most within the crafting industry and then learn everything you can about it, experiment and play around with techniques then apply to a design team calls and get your work out there in the public eye.

Can you let us know what you’ve got coming up?

I have a new launch coming up on Hochanda in August which will have some amazing background and collage stamps, new stencils, new mediums and my first foray in to dies that can be used for mixed media.

I'm so very excited about it all!
