Quick Crafts - Make your own macramé feather wall hanging in less than 10 minutes!

Welcome to our brand-new series of Quick Crafts! In these videos, I will be talking you through a super-quick craft from different areas of the arty world!

Today is a fun video which talks you through creating a handmade macramé feather wall hanging - all you need is a piece of old wood, yarn, sharp scissors and a brush depending on the type of yarn you use. You will also need something to wind the yarn on - thing pompoms but bigger! Once you have the basics of this technique down, it's really easy to get into the rhythm of it. Taper and brush to create the feather shape, why not mix it up with different textures, colour and perhaps add some metallic threads for a touch of bling! This would make a fabulous addition to a bedroom wall or as a new home gift for a loved one!
