Love Sewing 146 – On Sale 3rd April
Calling all sewing enthusiasts! The latest issue of Love Sewing is here, and it’s packed with incredible projects, expert tips, and delightful reads to spark your creativity and expand your skills. Trust us, you won’t want to miss this one!

So many exciting things are happening for Love Sewing, as I am sure you are noticing. Not only have we had a full revamp, but we are now bringing you three paper patterns every month designed by some of the best indie designers on the market!
This month we have teamed up with the ever-popular Sussex Seamstress to bring you her beloved Streat dress. This dress adds a twist to the classic 1950s-style shirtdress, the design is made for you to embrace your body and always feel comfortable whilst looking effortlessly beautiful… plus, it has pockets!

We are also bringing you the adorable Avery dungarees, perfect for children aged 6-24 months. This project is great to make in just one fun weekend and makes a great gift for a loved one! But like I said we aren’t stopping there we also have the Simple Sew Juliette pattern – Juliette is an ideal starter pattern. You will find this style extremely wearable and easy to make.

We of course have even more happening in this issue including a casual and simple colour block jersey dress. A stunning midi button-down skirt that looks beautiful when made using a floral fabric for spring and summer. We are obsessed with upcycle projects just as much as you are, so we have a fun appliqué project to breathe new life into your unwanted denim.

For those who like stepping away from garments and making accessories and home décor fear not we have a plethora of projects for you too. Including a faux leather tassel bag where you can really push your skills to the next level and a quilted picnic set.

If you are wanting to turn off that sewing machine for a little while and settle in with a cup of tea and a fun read, we are here for you. With The Great British Sewing Bee just around the corner the Love Sewing team share our highlights from season 10 and what we would like to see in the upcoming season! Plus, we have a range of masterclasses from top tips to toy making to sewing with denim and sewing with jersey, so boost your skills with us!
Happy sewing,
