Learn to Knit Bobble Stitch
There are a number of ways to add texture to a project and bobbles make a great choice. Adding a bobble in a contrasting colour is an interesting twist on this fun technique.

Insert RH needle from back to front between 2nd and 3rd sts on LH needle and loop CC over the RH needle at back of work.
Keeping hold of tail and working yarn, draw CC through to front of work.
Place loop of CC yarn on LH needle and K1tbl into CC loop.
Slip next 2 sts purlwise (as if to purl) onto RH needle.
Lift the 3rd stitch on the RH needle over the slipped stitches.
Allow the stitch to drop off RH needle to complete the st.
