Ladybird birthday card

Stamp the mesh areas of the A4 stamp on a 5½” square of white cardstock using Cracked Pistachio ink.

Stamp the small ladybird and the surrounding detail in black on white cardstock.

Ink the frame using Gathered Twigs ink then adhere over the stamped piece. Trim away any excess visible behind the frame.

Wrap black cotton thread around the panel, securing the cotton at the back. Adhere the frame onto the stamped background.

Stamp and colour the small ladybird again and colour just the body using Candied Apple Distress Ink with a piece of Cut ‘n’ Dry foam. Adhere the body to the stamped frame, adding cotton thread behind.

Stamp ‘LADYBIRD’ onto white cardstock. Cut out, colour the edges using Candied Apple Distress Ink and then adhere to the bottom of the frame.

Stamp and cut out the sentiment, edge with ink again and add to the card front. Add three stamped numbers, cut out and randomly affix to the background.

Matt the panel onto a square of cardstock coloured using Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink and affix to the card front to finish.
